This past weekend was the 2nd Annual Barbara Vey Reader Luncheon in Milwaukee, WI. If you're withing driving distance of Milwaukee....put April 26, 2014 on your calendar now....and if you're not...consider making it a special trip because it's one not to be missed.
The event is focused on the reader. 37 authors plus the amazing James Rollins as keynote gathered to meet and greet and lunch with over 200 readers at the Crowne Plaza. Each author brings special gifts for the folks sitting at their tables and the best friendships are made over the common factor --- we're all book lovers.
Such a fun day. If you want to see what it was like...my writer gal pal, Tonya Kappes, came and sat at my table this year. She recorded a ton of interviews....check it out at https://www.facebook.com/authortonyakappes?ref=ts&fref=ts
It was a super fun weekend. I always love seeing Nancy! She is always so smiley and happy :)
